Les T. Csorba is the partner in charge of Heidrick & Struggles’ Houston office and a member of the CEO & Board of Directors Practice, focusing on the energy industry.
Prior to his experience in executive search, he served in the White House as a special assistant to the president during the George H.W. Bush Administration.
Experience
With 30 years of experience in executive search, leadership consulting, and as an executive coach, Les partners with boards and executive teams of Fortune 500 companies across the energy sector and non-profit organizations. Les and his team received the “The Heidrick & Struggles Global Craftsmanship Award” for quality execution.
A commentator on leadership, Les is the author of TRUST: The One Thing That Makes or Breaks a Leader (Thomas Nelson, 2004) and recently co-authored “The New Energy Leader: The Essential Attributes for the Next Decade,” and “The Next Energy Crisis: TALENT.’ His articles appear in Corporate Board Member magazine, Oil and Gas Investor Magazine, the Houston Chronicle, the Chicago Tribune, and USA Today. He has been interviewed as an expert on leadership and corporate governance on FOX News, MSNBC, and CNBC with Maria Bartiromo.

Les is an active member of the Houston community serving on the board of Yellowstone Academy, a private inner-city school. In 2007, Les was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve on the President’s Commission on White House Fellowships.
